So I am a sandal wearing Cali girl for life BUT...I am loving the boot trends this fall!!! I have never purchased so many boots in one season in my entire life!!! Ankle booties, above the ankle boots, mid calf flats, knee high, thigh high!!!! Agh!!!! How does a girl keep up!!! Thank god I am a girl because girls find ways to keep up! Savvy sisters have to stick together and let the girls know when the great sales are going on. Then again there is forever21. This is a dream come true for girls wanting to stay up to date with the trends but put a twist on it. Take these boots I bought two weeks ago. I love them! They are so different no one looks at my face when I have them on. Fine with me..... I love my fashion and I really love my shoes! I also like them because they reminded me of the Louis Vuitton fashion show where all the models wore lace up thigh high boots! Now you know if I have crazy boots like these I also have thigh highs. I knew when I bought them off ebay that they were going to be a fashion risk. You don't want girls giving you "that face" and you don't want guys to think you are easy.....So what to do?? Well I paired them with my fav leggings and a tunic plaid shirt then belted it for shape. I decided to take my look out to a local chill club and see what people had to say. First I met up with some friends of my sisters and I got some whispers from some guys but they said that they looked cool. Next was a girl in the bathroom and she said "I cant believe you make knee high boots not look slutty and you still look good!" Also pairing them with a pair of leggings that were the same color took away from the fact that they were knee high boots so got a lot of double takes like oh no she didn't but it doesn't look that bad. lol Overall I love fashion risks and I like the new trends but with a Kelly twist!
